Terms of
Service
The agreement between you and the studio — how booking works, what a deposit holds, and what we each take responsibility for. Booking a consult means you agree to these.
Booking & consultation
A consult request is a starting point, not a confirmed appointment. Once you send your idea, placement, and rough size, you’ll hear back with availability, a price range, and next steps. Your booking is confirmed only when a deposit has cleared and a date is set in writing.
Deposits
A $100 deposit secures your appointment and comes off the final price of the tattoo. It covers the time spent designing and the slot held for you.
Deposits are non-refundable. They are, however, transferable to a rescheduled date provided you give enough notice — see below.
Rescheduling & cancellations
- 48 hours’ notice is required to move an appointment. With it, your deposit carries over to the new date.
- Less than 48 hours’ notice, or a no-show, forfeits the deposit and a new one is required to rebook.
- Repeated reschedules may require the full balance up front before another date is offered.
Life happens — reach out as early as you can and we’ll work with you where we reasonably can.
Client responsibilities
Come rested, fed, sober, and on time. Arrive without fresh sunburn on the area, and follow the aftercare instructions you’re given. You’re responsible for disclosing accurate health information on your waiver and for the spelling, meaning, and placement of any text or design you approve.
Tattoo eligibility
You must be 18 or older with valid government-issued ID. We don’t tattoo anyone who is intoxicated, and we may decline or postpone work where health, skin condition, or safety is a concern. The studio reserves the right to refuse any work it judges unsafe or inappropriate.
Liability limitations
Tattooing carries inherent risks, which are detailed in the release form you sign before any work begins. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the studio’s liability is limited as set out in that signed waiver. Healed results vary with aftercare, skin, and time, and are not guaranteed to match a fresh tattoo exactly.
Intellectual property & custom artwork
Custom designs created for your tattoo remain the artistic property of Dk’s Ink. You receive the right to wear the finished tattoo; the studio retains the right to photograph completed and healed work and to display it as part of its portfolio. Designs are made for you and are not licensed for reproduction or resale.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the courts of London, Ontario. Questions? Email bookings@dksink.ca or call or text +1 (548) 918-1313.
